The Primary Zone

I'm thinking of making a "Primary Zone" just for primary grade students. Though, I'm not sure what to put in it. Some of you reading this could be primary students, so I need your help. Intermidiate students, I need you help too because I am almost at a total blank. I have started it, though. Just leave a comment under this topic (click on the title to get to the comments part) including your "Primary Zone" suggestions. Thanks!

Book Fair

As most of us know, the school's book fair is coming on November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. If you love reading, I suggest you attend it. Many books will fill up the shelves. As an intermidiate student, I received a sneak-peak (intermidiate version). It includes books like:

"Icefall" by Matthew J. Kirby
"The Red Pyramid" by Rick Riordan
"End of Days" by Eric Walters
"School of Fear: Class is not Dismissed" by Gitty Daneshvari
"Heist Society" by Ally Carter
"13 Gifts" by Wendy Mass
"Beiber Fever" (it doesn't say the author)
"Dork Diaries #2" by Rachel Renee Russel
"The Vampire Stalker" by Allison Van Diepen
"Love is a Four Letter Word" by Vikki VanSickle
"How to Survive Middle School" by Donna Gephart
"The Ghost of Crutchfield Hall" by Mary Downing Hahn
"100 Scariest Things on the Planet" by Anna Clayborne
"The Eleventh Plague" by Jeff Hirsch
"Amulet" (I couldn't read the author)
The "Titanic" Series by Gordon Korman
"Dear Canada, That Fatal Night" by Sarah Ellis
"I am Canada - Deadly Voyage" by Hugh Brewster

There won't only be fiction books, there will also be posters, word game books, origami books, and even a stop bullying rubber braclet. Remember to enter the contests! You could win an MP3 Player or $25 in books for your home library plus for your classroom library. Hope you can come!

Good-Bye Mrs. Taylor!

If you haven't read the school website, then you don't know that on Wednesday Mrs. Taylor, our beloved secratary, will be transferred to a different school. I personally wish Mrs. Taylor a great time at her new school and the best of luck. I know I'll miss her a lot. Everything from the announcements to the whole school won't be the same. Good-bye Mrs. Taylor!

The Plane Crash

Around the area of the Vancouver Airport, a plane had crashed. No one is really quite sure what happened to make the plane fall. Everyone is still trying to come to a conclusion. Many people, not just trained professionals, but even regular people in that area at the time came to help. Some people actually went inside the flaming plane to get people out, while some brought fire extinguishers or joined a line to get the victims to safety. One mother texted her children because she thought she was going to die. Who thought texting can be so important! Luckily she, or any of the other passengers, didn't die. The pilot was the only one who had died. I pay my respects even though I never knew him. Just injuries (Well, of course, it's a plane crash!). For more information, watch the news on T.V.
