Christmas Countdown

TEN DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

Christmas Assembly

The Christmas Assembly occured today. One of the four jazz bands from Mountain Secondary. After that stupendous (good word isn't it) concert, the chior sang three songs and the last one was the song that the Count from Sesame Street sings (they told us). Some Band 7 students helped cleaned up while Mrs. Lenko led a sing-along. She called up two students to help lead the songs, which just happened to be my friend Jaylen and me. That pretty much concludes the whole assembly.

10 Days Until Christmas

Time to get riled up! Christmas is only 10 days away and the Holidays are 2 days away! I know I haven't been writing quite as much but I will write until the end of the week and then I will go on my holidays. Over the holidays I will only be doing a Christmas count-down. On to other business, we are all encouraged to wear red and green, or a Santa hat, on Thursday and Friday. Now start Christmas shopping! Christmas is getting closer even as you read this!

The Vending Machine

The vending machine is either broken or is out of Brisk. People come and say that the machine ate their money. Please don't buy anything from the machine, just bring a water bottle to school. For those of you who did get their money eaten, office monitors left a note for the seceratary and she probably let Mrs. Lenko know.

Ice Packs

During the week, people come into the office asking for ice packs and we don't see them for about another week. We frequently have to tell hurt kids that we have no more and, trust me, it feels really bad denying them. Remember to return the ice pack when it melts so other kids can have it too. Also make sure that you really need it. Some just get one because they think that it'll make their wound heal faster, but really, it'll only help if your wound is bad enough. Please don't ask for an ice pack if you are bleeding. The office has a package of band-aids and the office monitors will give you one. If it's severe, get an adult playground supervisor; office monitors aren't trained to deal with major injuries.
